Dr. Akira YASUDA, President/CEO and founder, has over 24 years of IC design experience and is an inventor and co-inventor of numerous US patents. His expertise ranges from hi-precision analog and delta-sigma converter circuits for data communication to RF and audio applications. Prior to founding Trigence, Dr. Yasuda worked as a leading analog circuit designer for Toshiba’s R&D center, Burbrown and TI. Since 2001, he has been teaching as a professor of Electronics at Hosei University, Tokyo.
Mr. Jun-ichi OKAMURA, Director/CTO and co-founder, has over 26 years of IC design experience and is an inventor and coinventor holding more than 30 US patents. In addition to expertise in hi-speed memory circuits for DRAM applications he also has vast experience in hi-speed serial-parallel converter and analog PLL circuits for data communication applications. Mr. Okamura worked as a leading analog circuit designer for Toshiba and IBM prior to founding Trigence and in 1999 led THine electronics, a Japanese semiconductor venture, to renowned success.
Mr. Yuichiro TAKAHASHI, Patent attorney, general practice attorney and co-founder, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of patent law. He holds a BSEE of KEIO University and began his career at the Intellectual Property Division of Toshiba. He has been engaged in patent prosecution, licensing negotiation, reverse engineering, prior art search, litigation support and contract drafting for 13 years. He also teaches as a professor at KEIO University, Tokyo.
